JLBJJ SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE:

July 6-10 STRENGTH & CONDITIONING FOR BJJ | August 3-7 BJJ for MMA and STREET SELF-DEFENSE

M, T, TH & F camp will be held at the academy. Drop off at 11am and pick up at 2pm daily. Please bring clean gi's/nogi attire, a water bottle, snacks or packed lunch daily.

Wednesday, Funday-activity TBD. Register now to cast your vote! Lunches will be provided for all kids participating on this day. Participants will be riding in designated vehicle or are welcome to meet us at the destination.

Camp in JULY will focus on strength and conditioning for jiu jitsu as well as speed drills and movement. Mr. Justin has an extensive background in lifting and knowledge in jiu jitsu which he combines for his athletes in private training. This is the most requested type of training, so we have it scheduled first! Camp in AUGUST will focus on BJJ for MMA and street self-defense. This is also a top request with the kids as well as an important skill set for jiu jitsu athletes. In this type of training we learn how to mangage distance and control an oponent that is striking or using a weapon to attack you. These kids will learn how to build confidence and learn technical skills to defend themselves and have fun along the way. Each day consists of learning, skillful application and free time. We have mat games, board games and video games!

Friday Funday’s are at an event chosen by the kids (previous years we have gone to ZavaZone, Escape Room, Franklin Park Pool and others). All recommendations considered. Register now to cast your vote for Friday Funday activities!

Kids Jiu Jitsu Classes:

Our kids’ program is available to all levels of kids ages 5-15 years old. We now offer mid-day and evening classes for kids.

WE ARE NOW OFFERING DAY TIME CLASSES FOR HOMESCHOOLED KIDS and kids on SUMMER BREAK. This mid-day class welcomes all kids who are available to train at this time. The goal is to be able to incorporate a timeframe to make training available twice a day for kids looking to excel their Jiu Jitsu. Beginners are always welcome to start with once daily classes at the time that works well for them.

We offer free trial classes to all students. If you are interested in our program, you are welcome to start with the trial before committing to anything. Please feel free to contact us to schedule your trial or to let us know if you have any questions or concerns ahead of time!


Adult Jiu Jitsu Classes:

We offer classes mid-mornings and evenings Monday’s-Friday’s as well as Saturday’s. Our adult program is offered to all levels and is meant to accommodate different schedules in hopes to increase your availability to train. If you would like to schedule a trial class to see if this is something for you, please do so here. women’s self-defense | Girls only jiu jitsu:

We will update you when we schedule our regular women’s self-defense classes.
